Continental Group was founded in 2010 with a simple idea: that European businesses benefit from operators who are committed to long-term value, not quarterly returns. Over the past 15 years, we've brought together 12 specialist divisions across industries — from engineering and construction to healthcare and software.
Today, we employ over 2,000 professionals across Europe. Each division runs as an independent operating business, competing fairly with external rivals and investing autonomously. What they share is access to shared services (finance, HR, compliance, IT) and the backing of patient capital.
Our headquarters is in Amsterdam, with regional teams and assets in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Austria, and the Netherlands. We work with multinational corporations, government agencies, regional SMEs, and family offices across Europe.
Is the group privately owned?
Yes. We are 100% privately held, with no external shareholder pressure on quarter-to-quarter outcomes. This lets us invest for the long term and stay aligned with our operators.
